Energy For All Initiative
Energy for All Renewable Energy for Real Estates
PHENOM ELECTRICAL WORKS LTD is at the forefront of renewable energy solutions for over 15 years, with a strong focus on the Real Estate sector. This sector is critical to the day-to-day living of every citizen, and we cater to the energy needs of every Estate regardless of size or capacity from 5kW to Megawatts of power.
Power is at the core of every business. The state of power generation in Nigeria and its attendant cost is a major concern. We propose a solution that provides stable, reliable power at a fixed flat cost for predictable business planning clean, green, and positioning your Estate as a positive contributor to the climate change campaign.
Our business model for Real Estates is acquisition via Lease to Own (LTO) or Energy as a Service (EaaS). The LTO service can be financed through our partner institutions, with payment spread over 2-3 years for convenience.
The energy challenge facing Nigerian businesses has evolved. It is no longer only about unreliable supply. it is now the combined pressure of unreliable grid electricity, rising tariffs, high diesel/petrol cost, generator maintenance, and the difficulty of planning operations around unstable energy expenses.
Discos Band "A" tariff references indicate about NGN 241.50/kWh, with Band A associated with 20+ hours of supply. As of 18 May 2026, diesel was reported at about NGN 1,811.88/litre and petrol at about NGN 1,300/litre using a practical generator output of 3.2-3.8 kWh/litre, fuel-only diesel power can cost between NGN 477/kWh and NGN 566/kWh, before servicing, lubricants, operator cost, logistics, and overhauls.
A 50/50 grid-diesel mix illustration, with fuel projected at ₦1,400/litre.
| Energy Source | Cost Basis | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Grid Supply | Band "A" Tariff | NGN 241/kWh |
| Generator | NGN 1,400/litre @ 3.2kWh/litre | NGN 437.5/kWh |
| Generator (O&M) | Fuel + Maintenance + Logistics | Above NGN 380/kWh |
| 50/50 Grid + Generator | 50% Grid + 50% Generator | NGN 339.25/kWh |
The process is simple: first, we conduct a power audit of your Estate to establish your basic power requirement. For LTO, we raise an invoice for the proposed installation and secure an adequate finance partner. Installation is completed and the project commissioned within 3-4 weeks.
For Energy as a Service (EaaS), the tariff is determined, a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is drafted and signed, an appropriate financial partner is secured, and the service is deployed typically over a slightly longer timeline.
We have tailored packages for every business sector across Nigeria.
